Keep a reusable bottle handy at your desk and take small, mindful sips, throughout the day. Every time you change a task or send an email, take a sip. It’s hydration and mindfulness in one go. And if you are someone like me who is repelled by the taste of plain water, you could try infusing it with lemon, cucumber, or mint for a refreshing taste that actually makes you want to drink it.

4. The 5-Minute Microbreak

All it takes to rewire your focus and refresh your mind is a 5-minute microbreak. You don’t need 30 minutes of walking to reset, instead, you could just set an alarm, to remind yourself to take a 5-minute break every hour or so. You could stretch in these 5 minutes, listen to your favorite music, do some breathing, or even step outside for a 5-minute fresh-air-and-vape break to clear the mind between meetings.
